My First Live Online Class!

I’m really happy to announce that I’ve recently become part of a holistic services charity called The Flourishing Well set up by the lovely Lorna Cameron, in Scotland. I will be facilitating classes through The Flourishing Well on and offline.

The Flourishing Well was set up to help anyone struggling with mental or physical health problems who has been let down by conventional resources. Anyone can participate and make use of the services however and are encouraged to do so as all paid for sessions help to keep the charitable part going. All events have a sliding scale for payments so those struggling financially can attend and those ok for money can pay knowing that they are helping to support someone else.

The first event I am facilitating, via Zoom, is a one hour session based on HeartMath meditation and how this practice supports our mental and physical health.

The date for this is Thursday 28th April, 7pm until 8pm, London/GMT time.

I’ve written about HeartMath and heart based practices quite a few times in this blog but will just repeat a few of the benefits to be gained from this simple and deeply relaxing form of breath work. These include:

  • An increase in heart health
  • Decrease in anxiety and depression
  • Repairing of the nervous system and alleviating stress
  • Increase in mental focus and clarity
  • Lowers inflammation in the body – a key essential for maintaining health
  • Raises levels of DHEA – the anti-aging hormone
  • Greater emotional balance overall

And these are just some of the extensively researched and scientifically verified results from HeartMath techniques!

The session next Thursday begins with why it works and what is happening within the body to produce the above benefits. We then go into a deeply relaxing guided meditation incorporating HeartMath breathing that takes you deeper into the heart itself, enabling you to experience the peacefulness of being within this space.

  2. You help and inspire so many people on their path to physical and mental well-being.

You have certainly been a great support to me through my darkest hours.

Your gentle, non-judgemental approach is very welcome. Your calming voice and touches of humour make me realise that life with all its challenges and setbacks is worth living after all.

You have taught me a great deal about how to take action regarding the things we can control and letting those we can’t flow over me without constant battles and resistance.

Thank you for your patience, kindness, understanding and consummate professionalism.
